Party Goodie

Fudgey Balls

'Tis the season to have quick, delicious (and dare I say "healthy") recipes at the ready for parties.  This past Sunday our Bible study class brought finger foods to share. My offering was this recipe of gluten- and dairy-free Fudgey Balls.

Medjool dates

Fudgey Balls

12 Medjool dates, pitted and soaked for 30 minutes, drained
1 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
1/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa natural, unsweetened

In a food processor, blend the dates to a smooth paste. Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth. Remove from the processor and form into round balls no larger than 1  1/2 inches in diameter. Makes about 30 balls.

  1. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I would try that, sounds good...Our across the street neighbor, Nancy, she did that on their front stoop--decorated a plant container just like that. I like it and told her...so creative way to use a planter/container. Many Holiday Blessings to you.
